Brendale is just south of Strathpine, in the Moreton Bay Region. While it's mostly industrial there are several parks. Get around Brendale and the surrounding Moreton Bay area with a convenient hire car.

The beaches of Moreton Bay are great for families, with calm protected waters in the lagoonal bay between the mainland and Moreton Island. Wander along the beachfront boardwalk, have a picnic in one of many local parks, and explore the local colonial history with museums and tourist drives.
